The 50th Anniversary Open House will take place on Saturday, June 26, 2010. The event will include a free barbecue, entertainment, tours, barge rides on the lake, demonstrations, free draws, give-aways and much more. We’re expecting a number of dignitaries to attend this event as well as we celebrate five decades of providing adapted recreational programming to thousands of Albertans with physical and/or mental disabilities. Additional information about this event will be posted on this webpage as it becomes available. The event is free, however, an RSVP is requested. Last year’s event was very well attended and included skits by the physically disabled teens and children attending Camp that week. Approximately 300 donors and supporters attended our 49th Anniversary Open House. We’d like to thank our event sponsors for making this event possible: Calahoo Meats Ltd. (for the roast beef, hard boiled eggs and assorted vegetables), Re/Max (Spruce Grove) for the hot air balloon ride for two over the City of Edmonton, Weston Bakeries (for the fresh-baked buns) and Parkland County (for the loan of the picnic tables). A big “thank you” to the staff and volunteers for another outstanding Open House event!
